		<description>i cannot confirm your findings, maybe i'm just lucky :) currently i perform some desaster recovery scenarios on a 2-node-RAC with ASM using 2 san storage boxes. ASM/RDBMS does not survive a switchoff of one storage box (bug 5220806, 5263557, et sqq.). after reboot all disks in the failed failgroup hosting FRA have state OFFLINE /HUNG but i can still create files in FRA (checked with v$flash_recovery_area_usage).
